What the 100 Second Spacebar Test Records

The 100 Second Spacebar Clicker is an extended hundred-second press average. In the 100-second mode, the opening accepted Space key press starts the timer and becomes press one.

A valid 100-second keyboard attempt requires distinct press-and-release actions. During the 100-second window, browser auto-repeat from holding Space is ignored.

How the 100 Second Press Rate Is Calculated

Presses per second is the accepted press total divided by the fixed duration.

For example, 520 accepted presses in 100 seconds equals 5.20 presses per second. In this mode, one additional accepted press changes the result by 0.01 presses per second.

What the 100 Second Duration Changes

The long window reduces the effect of one extra press on the final average and should be compared only with other hundred-second attempts.

For a 100-second comparison, a physical Space key is the accepted input. Mouse clicks and screen taps do not start or increment any 100-second attempt.

Comparing 100 Second Spacebar Attempts

• Use the same keyboard and the same Space key position.
• Release Space between presses during the complete 100-second keyboard attempt.
• Compare the 100-second result only with the same duration and keyboard setup.
• Use the last five 100-second attempts to place an unusual score in context.

Browser and Keyboard Limitations

The 100-second result depends on accepted browser key events. Keyboard switches, key travel, operating-system behavior, and browser load can change a 100-second result.

This 100-second page does not diagnose a keyboard fault or calculate reaction time, consistency, fatigue, or endurance.
